What Pop Culture Means to Me..

What is pop culture to me...hmmm, well I was going to say Star Wars but I see someone has already chosen that. When I think of pop culture, I think of timeless and have been around for a long time. Wherever I look, may it be on TV or at the store or in video games, I always see Lego. Lego has been around for a long time. They are a great example of staying with the current pop culture scene. Lego is always making new Lego sets for the latest and hottest movies out. I played with Lego when I was a kid and I’m sure most of you did as well.

  1. You did a great job on your blog. I really enjoyed your thoughts on pop culture. Lego have help market a lot of movies such a batman and Star Wars. I have never liked Star Wars, but its appeal to big audiences has lasted for many decades. My son knows more about Star Wars then I do, because of the Lego and video games. Great job!(Shundrick Parker)

  2. I love the design of your blog and the picture you included! I hadn't ever thought of Lego as being a symbol of pop culture, and I think it's an interesting observation. Things that have been around for many years or are "timeless" represent our society in many ways. Lego is not just something we played with as kids, but has been immersing itself into popular culture through video games and references to movies. It is certainly amusing to see Star Wars characters in the form of Lego figurines!
