Beliefs, Myths, and Icons
The most popular belief is that the iOS
from Apple beats the Android OS. This is a belief because it is true. Here you
will see a chart from Black Friday of 2012. You can see well over half of data,
77% to be exact, searched for shopping came from the iOS devices such as the
iPhone or iPad rather than any Android OS across all phones and tablets.
A popular myth or theory is that most iOS buyers are
specifically buying their devices for the features they can access, while most
Android users are just buying what is available to them (Ryan Kim, 2012). This
means that a person buying an iPhone or an iPad knows why they are buying that
Apple product and knows what the device can do. As for the Android users, they
are just buying the phone or tablet because it has a deal (a free Android phone
with a 2-year contract) or because it is cheaper than an Apple product.
Either side of the battle you may choose, they are both
icons in today’s world. Although Apple is way more established and has been
around since the 1970’s, Android has made a name for themselves and fast. In my
personal choice, I am an Apple fan boy. Apple has nothing but quality in mind
when they make a product, where as when I owned an Android phone (for a brief
time) it felt like it was cheaply made and fragile. Both iconic dealers will be
around for a long time, as long as they have fan boys on both sides, there will
always be a battle for the best.

users? From http://gigaom.com/2012/11/26/why-are-android-users-less-engaged-than-ios-users/
I completely agree with you about this, i am also a big fan about Apple products, i think they are they are the best at this time and will be always the best, and they will always invent products that will exceeds our imagination, you can't expect what Apple will do in their next products, and that's what i love them, and that's why they are always number one.
